Let's start at the very beginning. A very good place to start

This is books not movies though!

Back some time in September last year I came across a list. A list that was to change the way I was going to read forever. (A bit melodramatic sounding I know but it's true). This list was called '1001 Books you must read before you die' by a chap called Dr. Peter Boxall.

Now usually when I find something interesting on the Internet I'm distracted by it for a day at the most and then grow bored. However, this really intrigued me. Could I possibly read 1001 books? Would they be any good?

So onwards I went printing out the list and I set to marking all the ones I had read. I've read a lot of books. Or so I thought. 8. 8 BOOKS!! That was it.

Feeling pretty horrified I set out at once to scour the book collections of myself and my parents to hunt out any that were on 'the list'. Hitting the charity shops was another fun pastime. Rebecca for 20p. Dickens for 20p. OK they stank, but for 20p I didn't care. However, when buying books at knock down prices, check that the book is intact. Poor old Ian McEwan's 'The Cement Garden' started at page 97!

Today (25th March) I currently stand at 15 books. A little dip through the winter months occurred and hopefully now I'm back on track.

I have also read Little Women. However, Little Women published prior to 1880 was published in 2 separate volumes. This confused me when I watched the film and Beth dies.
